Everyone has something in their life that they want they wish for small things like a new make up product and they wish for big things like world peace and ending world hunger. My wish is gun control.While I may not live in America I can still see the violence that comes from their access to guns. If gun control doesn’t happen there will be more shootings like Columbine; America didn’t implement gun control then and now in 2019 there has been one or mass shooting in America.

New Zealand has seen the effects of gun violence when a gunman opened fire in two mosques killing 51 and injuring 49. We have made efforts in the months since these attacks to restrict the amount of guns that are available to the public. While most have been okay with the stricter laws and the buy back schemes some haven’t; it’s okay that not everybody agrees on the stricter laws not everyone is going to agree on everything.

America’s gun violence and the reasoning behind some of its mass shootings are starting to affect the rest of the world. America’s gun violence is normalizing the idea of mass shootings around the world. America’s gun violence is inspiring others around the world to commit mass shootings. America’s gun violence is no longer just affecting America it’s affecting the rest of the world. America’s Gun Violence is our gun violence to and we must do something to end it.

My wish is for everyone to come together to end gun violence.
